Frequently Asked Questions

How do I gain access to the content?

In order to view a presentation or the body of an abstract, journal article, etc, you first need to purchase a bank of available CME credits. Each item you choose to view will then subtract the appropriate amount of CME from your bank and credit your Learner Portfolio.

How do I move around the Universe?

The menu system at the top is your navigation system. The pages you will find are as follows:

• Content List - a quick list of ACG Education Universe content before logging in
• Create a new account - where you can go to create a new account for the universe, you only need one, we have included a page to retrieve your password
• Get Credits - where you can purchase time to use on the available CME activities, you can also See previous transactions
• Content - where you can browse all the content available to you
• My Portfolio - where you will find all of the content you have purchased
• CME Certificate Generator - print certificates for the CME you have earned
• CME Credit Status Report - see items which are ready to be printed on a certifcate and items for which you still need a completed evaluation

What is a content filter?

Given the breadth and depth of material on the site, filters allow you to narrow your interests to a smaller list of choices from an overall list of thousands of items.

What is a Portfolio?

Your Portfolio is a repository of learned content that is accessible only to you.  The Portfolio contains all of the activities you undertake in the ACG Universe.

What will I find in here?

The ACG Universe contains material from ACG Annual Meetings, Post-graduate Courses, Abstracts, Journals, Self Assessment Tests, additional material created specifically for the Universe, and more
